Photo Blending / Collages (Click to Enlarge)
The following designs were created as email and/or printed invitations to various tradeshows and other events for Display Devices. These effects seamlessly combine multiple photos into attractive collages with overlaying text. All of these graphics were created using Adobe Photoshop.
Other Graphic Design Work
These graphics and photos show some other design work I did while working for Display Devices. Most of the work involved retouching photos by removing backgrounds, merging multiple photos, creating concept sketches, etc. All of the work in these samples was done in either Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustator.
Product Advertisment Postcard
At a recent tradeshow, management wanted to have graphics-rich handoutsto give to potential customers. These 8.5" x 5.5" postcards were the result.
Background Removal of Photo
This graphic is an example of one of my most common projects at Display Devices -- removing the backgrounds from photos so they could be used in other publications.
Concept Design Drawing
Often, customers wanted to see conceptual drawings of their project ideas before paying and having them submitted to engineering. I created many of these concept drawings (usually in Photoshop and Illustrator), and this is an example.
Video Content Added to Screen
This is an example of another common project at Display Devices. I took an existing photo and added apparent video content to the screen.

Merged Photos
For this photo, I used an image of a convenience store and overlaid our custom chip stand so it appears to actually be sitting in the store.

Photo to Line Art Conversion
I was tasked with converting part of a photo to line art for a specific project and this is the result. This was accomplished using Photoshop's curves dialog and the high pass filter, among others.

Retouched Enclosure Photo
This is a quick retouch job I did on a photo of one of our display enclosures. I added the brick wall and changed out the graphics onscreen.

Display Devices Catalog Design
This image shows the page layout of Display Devices' printed product catalog. I designed it in Photoshop and Illustrator originally, and later moved it over to InDesign.
